The project is about “i-Intelligent Lecturer’s Appointment System (i-LAS)” which is design to make the students and their lectures easy to manage their schedule and time to make an appointment if the students facing a problem in their study. We can see that this system is very useful to both sides because there is no need to waste the time, energy and time management like when making appointment by using manual method.
This e Appointment gives the opportunity to make an appointment via the Internet. This has the advantage of being available 24 hours a day. Moreover, it is not personal appointment needed. This i-Intelligent Lecturer’s Appointment System (i-LAS) is the first system which is designed to allow both of user which is students and lecture easy to make an appointment by not waste the time, energy and to prevent for the any problem because all they need is internet connection to make an appointment success.
For the first time login, students needs to key in their id and password. After that student can view availability of lecturers and subject before make an appointment. If student choose to make an appointment they must search that lecturer by lecturer name, date and time. After students make an appointment, database is updated. The lecturer can view the request. Every appointment that received by lecturers is based on available slots. Lecturer can reject or edit the time and date to make other appointment when have emergency.
